Welcome
Pastor Greg & Diane Jones would like to welcome

The following is an outline of what will be covered:
Week One: 1st Sunday
What We
Believe At Liberty
ONE GOD, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit/Ghost. (1 Cor 8:6; 1 Jn 5:6-7; Eph 4:4-6; Phil 4:13)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit; born of a Virgin (Mary); lived; was crucified dead; buried; and was resurrected on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, and is true God and true Man. (Jn 3:16; Mt 1:20-23; Jn 19:20; 1 Cor 15:3-8; Eph 1:18-22; Acts 2:17-33)
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is our rule of faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:16; Mt 22:35; Lk.10:25-27)
We believe that all are born sinners; the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin; the Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for sin by shedding His precious blood on the cross as the atonement for sin; those who repent of their sin and personally accept Jesus Christ as Savior, receive forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. (Jn 3:16; 1 Jn 1:9; 1 Pet. 2:21-24; 1 Cor 15:3; Rom 3:23; 1 Jn 3:4)
We believe in the working and operation of the Holy Spirit, His gifts, and His baptism. Also that He will manifest the evidence of His presence in an individual. NOTE: All believers who are filled with the baptism with the Holy Spirit have the ability to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance. (1 Cor 12; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:1-6)
We believe that every Christian should strive daily to live a holy life, using Jesus Christ as our example. (1 Pet 1:13-14; 2 Pet 1:3-8; 1 Cor 6:19-20)
We believe that every Christian should read, pray and fellowship with God on a daily basis, to grow spiritually and naturally in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Jas 1:5; Is 58:2; 2 Pet 3:18; 1 Pet 2:2; 2 Tim 2:15)
We believe that the members of the body of Christ are the Church of which Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone. (1 Cor 12:12, 14, 27; 1 Pet 2:2-6)
We believe that God has given everyone a purpose in life. Our job is to seek His will for our lives and to do those things that He commands us to do. (1 Cor 15:58; 1 Tim 4:15; Mt 6:33)
We believe in and look for the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will come back for His CHURCH (the body of Christ). (Lk 2:21-27; Acts 1:11; Lk 12:40; 1 Thess 4:13-18)
We believe and teach that baptism is not essential to salvation; however, it is an act of obedience to show that an inward change has taken place. Baptism should be done by immersion following one’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Mt: 3:16, 28:19; Acts 2:38; 8:36-38)
We believe that the Lord Jesus left two ordinances for us to follow until He returns; the observance of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism. We believe in the literal washing of feet as a sign of humility in the body. (Jn 13:1-17; Lk 22:14-20; 1 Cor 11:23-30)
We believe in worshipping and praising the Lord with the freedom of raising and clapping our hands, singing and dancing. (Ps 47:1; Ps 150; 1 Chron 15:16; Neh 8:6; 1 Tim 2:8)
We believe that God’s financial plan is through tithes and offerings. Tithes (10% of our gross income) are holy and the Lord’s portion. Offerings or sowing financial seed in any amount above the tithe that you may give towards the work of the Lord. Tithing was before, during and after the Law. (Gen 14:18-20; 28:20-22; Prov 3:9-10; Mt 23:23; 2 Cor 9:6-8)
We believe God has called men and women into the "Ministry of Helps". Also, we believe women are allowed to teach, preach and prophesy. (Gal 3:28; 1 Cor 12:18-21; Tit 2:1-8; 1 Cor 12:27-28; Acts 2:17-18; Eph 4:8-11)

There is a ministry for everyone in the Church. Pray & ask the Lord, "Where can I best serve?" When you receive your answer jump in & serve the Lord with gladness!
Liberty Child Training Center
(LCTC)
Proverbs 22:6- "Train up a
child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from
it."
We have an obligation to raise our children in the
reverence of the Lord and teach/ train them that they are created in the
image of God, and God has a purpose for their life. Additionally, we teach
our children that they are the head and not the tail, above and never
beneath, lenders and not borrowers. At an early age will instill in them
that they are leaders not followers, business owners/ managers not minimum
wage employees. If you have children, we encourage you to enroll them in
LCTC and let your friends, neighbors and co-workers know about the Vision of
LCTC. Additionally, if you are called to work with children, ministry/ job
opportunities are available.
12 Points of Protocol
We ask that (as much as possible) within our local body that we address the members as "Brother" or "Sister" Or Ministry titles (i.e. Pastor, Elder, Minister, Deacon) [Without controversy]
Pastors should not be addressed by their first names without their titles. [Note: It is proper to say "Pastor Greg" or "Pastor"] Pastor's wife should not be addressed as First Lady (Note: It is proper to say "Pastor Diane")
Recognition of Ministry titles and positions for this local body are established by the Pastor with the support of the Board of Elders or the Pastors Council.
All ministry issues, problems, grievances, or concerns are to be addressed to the assigned Helps Ministry leader first (for resolving). If the matter is not resolved, it should then be brought to the senior leadership of the Church. [Chain of senior leadership (bottom-up) is: Minister, Elders and Pastors. The Pastors desire to only be involved as a last resort in resolving conflicts. Problems should be resolved at the lowest level possible. St. Matt. 18:15-17]
Please try to avoid bringing any major church issues, problems, or concerns to the Pastors on service days, unless it is an emergency. If you need to talk (personally) with Pastor Diane or Pastor Greg, please call the church and set up an appointment. Appointments are generally set for 1 hour. Pastor Greg does not counsel with women alone or in private. After initial counseling, the Pastors may refer you to an Elder (in the church) or a local Christian counselor for continued ministry.
In the event of an emergency such as sickness, auto accidents, or hospitalization of a member, please call our Prayer Chain (beginning with Elder Reed @ 580-1150). He will inform the Pastors. In the event of a tragic situation involving death of a member, notify the Pastors immediately.
Please do not give the Pastors home phone number or home address out to "non-members." Have them call the church Administrator during business hours. Members are welcome to call church Elders and other church leaders for ministry issues/concerns. Please do not give anyone’s phone number out to telemarketers or for business solicitations.
Lending a helping hand: All members with children in the Nursery or Children’s Church Ministry should serve in given Ministry.
General Understanding: There should be no smoking or drinking (alcoholic beverages) on church grounds. Also, members involved in a fraternity, lodge, or sorority should not promote/solicit on church grounds.
Stay actively involved in a Help Ministry of the Church. Your gift is needed in the body.
Please avoid talking on cell phones in the Sanctuary during service. Also, place your cell phones on "vibrate" while in services, if possible.
In 2 Corinthians 3:17 the scriptures state: "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty." Also the scriptures state in 1 Corinthians 14:40- "Let all things be done decently and in order." Therefore, we encourage you to worship the Lord in freedom with the understanding that all worship should be decent and in order.
